Super Easy Imperfect Mango Pops

Lamb Shoulder Slow Roasted

There are a great many things that I love the idea of making but in all honesty just won’t do because the effort seems too great. For some reason homemade ice blocks are on that list. I have a couple of different mold sets, because I have always fancied the idea of doing my own, but just don’t seem to get the job done. (Totally me and my lazy side). I know that sounds absolutely ridiculous because I will happily put in the effort to make an 8hour slow-cooked meal, but that’s just how I am some times.

But fingers crossed I may have made a permanent change on this one,( well for summertime at least) with my super lazy nothing but good stuff mango pop sticks.

Literally, all that goes into the blender is fresh mangoes and a little bit of almond milk to break them down. Possibly the least amount of effort for a tasty and cooling treat that has no added sugar and my little one thinks are amazing.

Oh yeah, but I did forget to put the popsicle sticks in so had to then add some coconut yogurt to the top after they were frozen…..rookie mistake whoops, hopefully won’t do that again.

Anything works

No recipe needed, simply slice open the mangoes scoop out all the flesh, throw in a blender with as much or as little almond milk as you want and blitz till smooth. Viola into the molds and freeze.
