Wash those herbs

in my opinion this is the most efficient and easiest way to wash your herbs. If you do this with the whole bunch prior to storing them, even better:

Fill a kitchen bowl up with cold water and plunge the entire bunch of herbs in, give it a good shake under the water then let that bunch sit for a while.

When you’re ready, remove the herbs from the water and shake off excess water. (I often step outside to do this as I like to give them a real strong shake). Once you’ve seen just how much gunk comes out of your supposedly washed herbs, you’ll hopefully never use them straight from the packet again.
