Do I need to cook the recipes in the order suggested?
Nope! You can cook them in any order. The order given in the menu plan is merely a suggestion based on things like shelf life and freshness of the ingredients, ease vs how tired you are at the end of the week, lunches and more. But it’s totally up to you. If you feel like Friday’s dinner on Tuesday, do it!
Can I access recipes from previous weeks?
Yes! At this time, you can go back into the email from previous weeks and click on the recipes to access them. A good tip is to save your weekly emails from 1 Eighty Kitchen in a folder or add a label (depending on your email provider) so that you can get to them easily.
How can I make sure I don’t miss the email with the weekly plan?
Save info@1eightykitchen.com in your address book or contacts and, if your email provider has this function, mark the emails as important when they come in.
How do I use the shopping list?

Always make sure you check the shopping list first and remove any items you already have in the pantry.
If you are at the supermarket: open the weekly menu on your phone and click on any of the add to shopping list buttons that you have previously selected, this will take you through to your cart. Touch the cross symbol beside the item as you collect it. You can re add anything that you touch by mistake, just touch the add symbol.
To Print: open the shopping list on your PC, click on the link button at the bottom and then up the top under the sort by category change the toggle to Aisle. This will make it easier as you are going around the supermarket.
Send to your online cart: this is so easy - just select your supermarket at the bottom of the shopping list and everything will upload automatically.
How can I manage my subscription?
Head over to your accounts page which you can access from the login tab.
If you would like to upgrade your subscription you can do so, go to your accounts page, select change subscription. Or cancel at anytime.
What if I am cooking for more people?
The menus are designed to provide dinner for 2 adults with enough leftovers for lunch for 2 adults at least 4 times a week. If the serves read ‘Dinner for 4’ then your leftovers for lunch are the exact replica of dinner so therefore could serve 4 people. If the serves read 2 people this means lunch has been slightly modified and therefore only works as dinner for 2, and lunch will require some additional ingredients.
There is a modified shopping list provided if you want to have enough ingredients to do dinners every night for 4 people, but in order to have leftovers you would need to work out additional quantities yourself.
Can I substitute an ingredient?
Absolutely everything is adaptable to your own personal preference you will just need to customize your shopping list where necessary.
For example if I have written in the recipe that you require feta, there is no reason why you couldn’t swap that out for goats cheese or even a soft curd. Or if you would prefer no dairy at all just simply omit that from the recipe.
