Planning and shopping for meals for the week is no simple task. Finding healthy and delicious recipes, doing the shopping and getting a meal on the table is time consuming. At 1 Eighty Kitchen, we understand that for busy people, this time could be spent doing something you love, working out or simply spending more time with people who matter. A meal plan does the thinking for you and allows you to focus on getting delicious and healthy food on the table.
How Do The Meal Plans Work?
The meal plan is designed for busy people which is why we include 5 dinners and 4 lunches. Enough to save you heaps of time, yet still keeping some flexibility to eat out or catch up with friends over lunch without feeling guilty about wasting food.
Whether you're cooking for two or you’re looking for dishes to cook for the whole family, our meal plans can be scaled to suit you. Menus are designed for two adults but you can easily scale with the ‘feeding four’ extra shopping list.
These mindful dinners and easy, delish lunches have a strong focus on whole foods and using plenty of vegetables. Variety keeps it interesting while being conscious not to go too crazy with large amounts of ingredients and complicated steps. But, best of all, the shopping list has been carefully constructed to use up all your perishable ingredients, so there will be no half used vegetables sitting in the veggie drawer at the end of the week.

What are the meals like?
All meals are designed by 1 Eighty Kitchen Head Chef Rachel and feature lots of whole foods and plenty of vegetables, making them healthy and easy to prepare. There are no diets here - just good, simple and delicious food. The recipes are simple to cook and vary from week to week to keep it interesting. All meals are designed to avoid long grocery lists, wasted ingredients and complicated steps. Our meal plans also include lots of helpful tips and tricks to make you feel like a pro in the kitchen.

Shopping made easy?
No matter if you love or hate going to the supermarket, our shopping list will make it easy to get all your groceries in one shop. All the ingredients are sensibly seasonal so they are easy to find and will taste their very best.
Our recipes are adaptable to your own personal preference, so swap out an ingredient and customise your shopping list where necessary. Simply download the checklist and head to the shops, or for convenience, visit your preferred supermarket online, pop the shopping list into your order and have it delivered to your door.

Sample Recipe
Prawn & Avocado Rice Paper Rolls
What you'll need
8 sheets of medium round rice paper rolls
16 large cooked prawns
1 half an iceberg lettuce
fresh coriander leaves
1 avocado
vietnamese dipping sauce
Who's rolling?
In my house we enjoy rolling our own at the dinner table but if you want to serve them ready, just work systematically.
Prep
My tactics for prawn peeling:
Pinch and twist to remove the head, slide your thumb along the ridge underneath the shell to remove it, pinch and squeeze to pull off the tail so you don't lose any meat, and peel back the top of the prawn removing the vein
Peel prawns completely, de-vein and slice lengthways down the middle.
Slice lettuce nice and thin.
Slice avocado.
Pick coriander leaves.
Get ready to roll
Lettuce Tip:
I like my lettuce strips to be nice and thin, I find it makes it a lot easier when you are rolling
Fill a bowl large enough to fit a rice paper with hot water from the tap.
Dip your rice paper into the water completely submerging it till it begins to feel soft.
Lay out on a clean dry surface.
Place coriander leaves in the centre of the sheet.
Arrange 4 half pieces of prawn with the red side down.
Lay your avocado neatly over the top (the whole time thinking about presentation).
Bulk it up with lettuce.
Fold the sides (3 o’clock and 9 o’clock) into the centre.
Take the bottom of the rice paper and pull it up and over the filling then tuck it down snug and roll upwards.
In my house we enjoy rolling our own at the dinner table, but you could easily serve these ready made, just repeat until all the filling is used.
