Sammies from the pantry for those days when there isn't enough leftovers
Serves: 1
I remember the first time someone said they were having a tuna sandwich I thought it sounded like the most disgusting thing in the world. Unfortunately I don’t remember the first tuna sandwich I ever ate, but in my very early 20’s I was very partial to a tuna sub from subway. Don’t judge but I reckon I could possibly have done 1 a week…….. I literally haven’t been to subway in years but I do still love a really fresh tuna sammy.
We always always have bread in the house, I think my husband could eat toast all day long so a sandwich is always possible as our pantry is always stocked with the essentials.
What you'll need
Fresh sliced bread
1 small tin of tuna
a tablespoon or so of mayo
Optional
lettuce
avacado
cheese
