Beautiful produce makes beautiful food

quality produce 1eightykitchen weekly tip

It’s not always possible to pick your own produce and I do love the convenience of having my shopping delivered to my door, but I really do love to hand pick my own ingredients when I am able to. I think one very simple tip that people easily forget is that it all starts with great produce especially when it comes to making your food not just taste delicious, but look delicious as well. So it makes sense that gorgeous beautiful little radishes are going to present better than rough beaten up knobbly radishes…… these aren’t organic but they are Australian grown.

I am always thinking of the final presentation when I pick my ingredients. From the quality of the protein right down to the colours on the leaf of a herb, absolutely every detail affects your final masterpiece so pay attention to what you put in the trolley.
